This Privacy Policy explains what information totm collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep this short and plain on purpose.
Your email address (at signup); the content you create (links, text, bio — a published totem is public); and basic technical logs (IP address, browser/device type, timestamps). If you submit a form on someone else's totem, we store the answers you provide and share them with that totem's owner.
To create and secure your account; host and display your totem; keep totm secure and abuse-free; respond to you; and comply with the law and enforce our Terms.
When you log in, we set a session cookie so we can keep you signed in. This cookie is necessary for the service to work — we don't use it to track you across other sites.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may share information with service providers who help us run totm (e.g. hosting), when required by law, to protect rights/safety, or in a business transfer.
We keep your information while your account is active, and remove it within a reasonable time after deletion — except limited copies kept for backups, security, or legal obligations.
You can view and edit most of your information in the app. To request deletion of your account or data, email jordan.ambra@gmail.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, or delete your data.
totm is for people 13 and older. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and will delete such data if we learn we've collected it.
We take reasonable steps to protect your information — for example, passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text. No online service is 100% secure.
We may update this Privacy Policy over time, with a new "Last updated" date.
